Rusty was my first pet and what started my love for animals. She was very much a one family dog, and
didn't trust anyone outside those she knew well. Obtained from the Victorian Animal Aid in Coldstream Vic, she had a
zest for life and believed she was put on this earth for one purpose only - to chase a ball. Although she never competed
in anything, I can still claim she was an extremely intelligent individual as she always picked up new 'tricks' very quickly
and was a great problem solver. She was a beautiful girl, active until her last day. Unfortunately she was taken
from me quite suddenly as although she was 13 at the time, nothing short of a 1/2 hour run with the ball would satisfy
her. I miss her terribly, but she will always be in my heart.
